Fallen Angels
After Lucifer's rebellion and imprisonment in The Pit of Hell, a third of Heaven's hosts were cast out to follow their general into Hell for all eternity. As guardians to damned souls, their father, Yahweh had sought to teach his errant children humility and repentance in the face of human suffering in The Hells Rings.
Instead, he created a terrifying new enemy that could corrupt the souls of humanity and steal those souls for their power.
Utterly loyal to Lucifer, the Fallen Archangels control the Hell's Rings, consume damned souls, and wait for The Apocalypse; The Last War that will consume the earth and all living souls, forever.

There are many different versions of Lucifer's story from during and after The Great War: The Lightbringer who led the Angels to victory over the Old Gods, the jealous son who rebelled against his father because of humanity, and the sinister King of Hell who tempts mankind into damning their souls to darkness.
All stories of his legend have a shred of truth, but one thing is for certain: he is the most powerful and terrifying enemy anyone could ever face, and he has his sights set on destroying his father and taking the earth for himself.
During The Great War, he was known as 'Satan': God's Executioner, and he has certainly lived up to that title in the centuries since as the General of the Fallen Angels.

Supporting Lucifer's rebellion against Yahweh and Heaven, Belial is known as the 'Prince of Lies' as it is rumored, he was the one who planted the seed that would lead to Lucifer's rebellion.
Now, he is the de facto ruler of Hell, while Lucifer is imprisoned in the Dark Spire at Hell's center, and he commands the forces of the Fallen Archangels in Lucifer's name.

Before he fell into hell, he was a General known for brutally torturing his captives, which would incur wrath from Yahweh and the other Archangels, leading to his imprisonment in heaven.
During Lucifer's rebellion, Asmodeus was released by the rebel angels and then cast out to become a Fallen Archangel in service to Lucifer.
During the Great War, he somehow managed to convince an entire race of Cyclops to serve him and join him in hell, leading to the creation of a new kind of demon called Modi.
In the Ring of Madness, you will find many supernatural creatures (those that have human souls), as well as humans fighting a nonstop battle against each other, while his Modi Demons hunt particular souls to drag back to Asmodeus' Keep for brutal experiments.

During The Great War, Thammuz was a highly skilled tactician and commander, devising plans that shocked his fellow angels due to their ingenuity and brutal results.
He would often instigate wars between different groups, allowing them to kill each other before he and his angels would swoop in to convert or kill those who were left. He would use women and children as bait to kill or capture humans and Gods for Asmodeus to interrogate.
When Asmodeus was captured and imprisoned, Thammuz sought to rescue him from heaven's prisons but failed in the attempt. He would have been executed by the other Archangels if Lucifer hadn't begun his rebellion, and for that, Thammuz pledged undying loyalty to his Fallen Angel brothers and sisters.
To this day Thammuz and Asmodeus still work closely together, inhabiting Rings alongside each other and sharing their damned souls for many abhorrent purposes.

Assuming the role of Anubis from the Ancient Egyptian pantheon, Astaroth became the ruler of the Ring of Limbo due to his ability to analyze souls and their light or darkness.
During The Great War, Astaroth was sent as an interrogator as he could always compel the truth from anyone or anything that came before him, including Gods. This would eventually put him on a collision course with Yahweh who did not wish to confess his secrets, and Astaroth was cast into hell to be imprisoned in The Dark Spire.
Deemed too dangerous to even be kept in heaven's prisons, Astaroth would languish in The Dark Spire until Lucifer's fall where he was released to join his Fallen brethren and assume control of the Ring of Limbo.
His role in hell is to judge the souls sent down the River Stix and assign his Atari to monitor the souls who were yet undecided. Those who were damned would be sent on to their designated Ring, while the undecided would be trapped in Limbo's mists until he or his Atari released them.

Dagon is a General of armies, tasked with the creation of demons and then training them to be weapons of war.
During The Great War, she was a Battle Master, a warrior of terrifying renown who was responsible for wiping out entire civilizations in her wake, including the Sirens and Gorgons.
Her lust for bloodshed and war became so great that the other Archangels had to step in and imprison her in The Dark Spire as she would not stop her onslaught.
However, she had a fanatically loyal following of Battle Angels, known as Spears, who sought to release her from hell. Many of them were killed, while others were recruited by Lucifer to join his rebellion and free their mistress.
When they all fell into hell and she was released along with her brethren, Lucifer tasked her with testing the Fallen Angels that had been cast out with them, creating brutal tests to weed out the weak and nurture the strong and ruthless in their ranks.
Her testing would lead to thousands of angel deaths and the creation of an army utterly loyal to her and the Fallen Archs. This military is housed in The Maze in The Ring of Betrayals; her followers devising the tests and competitions that take place in The Maze itself.

Moloch inspires desire and the driving need to attain what we long for, often leading to catastrophic consequences and violence.
During The Great War, he used his subtle powers to fuel the violence between genders, often toppling entire societies by causing disparities and inequality (as well as fear) between the sexes.
This would lead to the deaths of many men, women, and even children who were caught up in the violent consequences of Moloch's power, but unlike the other Archangels, Yahweh found a use for Moloch's abilities.
He continued to allow Moloch to destabilize societies, where he could then send other angels like Ramiel and Amateel to bring peace and order once more; converting more followers to Yahweh.
When the call came from Lucifer, it was Belial who convinced Moloch to join them and rebel against heaven and he did, resulting in his fall into Hell.
Assuming control of the Ring of Lust, he captured mermaids from the Hissing Wastes to patrol the 'endless' expanse of water and prey on the souls trapped there.
Now known as the Col, these desire demons answer to the will of Moloch, while he inhabits an island hidden in the Ocean of Dreams. What he does there is unknown, but as the Lord of Lust, one can guess.

Not much is known of Berith throughout The Great War as he doesn't seem to have played a major role like the others of his kind.
After Lucifer's rebellion, however, Berith emerges as a major player in hell and assumes control of the Ring of Greed, creating a new race of Imp Demons to do his bidding.
While his Imp Demons are sent to earth to collect more souls, Berith oversees his domain in hell where insatiable greed is fed and denied to the damned souls in his Ring.
More puzzling is the cult following that he has on Earth; thousands of humans who worship him and seek his 'blessing' to harness powerful dark magics.
How he became a Fallen Archangel and Patron to Necromancers is unknown, but his power is undeniable.
And he answers only to Lucifer.

Embodying the phrase 'the arrogance or ignorance of youth', Aramea played a major role during The Great War; crafting powerful weapons for the Archangels (including Lucifer's flaming sword).
He also had the power to inspire the use of weapons to instigate battles and amplify the carnage of war. His powers would ultimately land him in trouble with the older Arch's who thought him too young and prideful as he sought to prove his prowess in battle.
His actions would lead to catastrophes like the volcanic eruption of Pompei and the collapse of the Roman Empire (a society Yahweh was in the process of converting).
By the time his actions were to be called in for reprimand, Lucifer was beginning his rebellion and Aramea (who idolized Lucifer) joined him.
After their fall, Aramea would work tirelessly for years to try and create a weapon that could break Lucifer's bonds and free him from The Dark Spire but to no avail.
The other Fallen saw a use for their youngest brother, tasking him with the guardianship of the Ring of Pride and all the souls that resided there.
