As one of the most recognizable Livingstones in the Ohio Cell, Serena Livingstone is a unique Reaper with the power of Fire Magic and yet, the inability to speak.  

Due to an unspecified injury to her neck, she completely lost the ability to speak and now uses her vast telepathic abilities to communicate with others around her.  

She is a rare 'Dual-Wielder' Magi; an individual who has specialized in more than one magical class and is known for being a great mentor and advisor to others in her Cell.  

Another oddity with Serena is that she often leaves the Ohio Cell in the company of Alessandra Williams and Asaka Zuli in pursuit of vampires and other supernatural creatures. Choosing to be on the front lines, rather than in a leadership position and confined to a Reaper Cell, Serena actively connects with the supernatural community, having become the representative for the Livingstone family and Reapers in general among the supernatural and Fae communities.
