Name Meaning: 'Man's Defender' - Greek Origin 

Sandra, or Sandi to her friends, has been a Reaper all her life, having grown up in the Ohio Reaper Cell. She underwent all the training required and became a Reaper Magi with a powerful affinity for earth magic. Though her parents belong to the Caretakers, they learned early that Sandi had a powerful ability that would make her an Earth Shaker, the kind of Magi that required strict training to control her powers. 

Earth Shaker Magi have been known to cause building collapses and structural damage to Reaper bases as they have the power to shift earth, bend metal, and even level buildings. She learned to control her power when she was a teenager, rarely struggling with it or risking others around her. 

There was a minor incident in the academy when she was 14, due to an older Magi student bullying her, she crushed a table with just her will. No one was hurt, but she was reprimanded, and this stood as a strong lesson to her not to lose control. 

In her 20s, she was curious to get out and see the world, choosing not to follow in the footsteps of her Caretaker parents. She has an adventurous spirit and chose to work for the Reapers in South America, tracking drug cartels and sex trafficking rings that had demonic or supernatural influences. She would spend two years in Cuba tracking cartels before meeting her wife, Katarina Strand-Thorgard.
