Name Meaning: ‘defender of mankind’ and ‘resolute protector.’   

Aly was born and raised in the Reaper order to two Foundling parents. For as long as she can remember, she has been trained to become a lethal warrior by both her parents, forgoing many opportunities for friendships and what's considered a ‘normal life’ to the Reapers. Through blood, sweat, and tears, she was honed into a weapon, and when she became a teenager, her air magic abilities activated. She was schooled in offensive magic as well as standard combat training and specialized training directly from her parents.  

Every waking moment was consumed with becoming a Reaper until her mother's death just before her 14th birthday. Her father, devastated by the loss of his wife, would begin to devote more of his time to The Foundling's cause, providing some respite for Alessandra to pursue a normal training regimen among other Reapers of her age. When she turned 18, she chose to specialize as a hunter and quickly demonstrated both her prowess in battle and restraint in how she interacted with the supernatural community. She quickly rose in the ranks, becoming a mentor to new hunters at just 24. Despite her father's best efforts to gain her support for the Foundling movement, she would become a proactive member of the Reaper military, answering directly to the Council and being assigned to work alongside a Livingstone, a member of the original family that began the Reaper order centuries ago. She would be used as an example to other Reapers of what dedication to the order looked like, and this would cause an even bigger rift with her father.   

Despite their relationship, she pursued peaceful ties within the Reapers and supernatural community, traveling the world and enjoying one of her lifelong passions: photography.   

To the Reaper Council and the Livingstone family, Alessandra was a prime example of how the Foundlings, Reapers, and Magi could coexist together, as she held blood ties to all the major factions in the Reaper order. This would cause tremendous trouble for the introverted Reaper, making her feel more of an outcast than someone who belonged.
